Oasis

For my first year and a half living in Spain I was constantly moving. I solo traveled around the country visiting new places and meeting many types of people. It was also a time of personal hardship and transformation. I was deeply unhappy where I was living for many reasons. I felt that my time there had expired long before I left. In May of 2025 I left again, this time moving to another city in Spain. Upon arrival I felt that I had discovered an oasis after a long and hard journey. I have found fertile land after almost 2 years in the desert. 

Now that I am in a place where I have the necessary resources and space to create again, I have begun this body of work. Art making is a way for me to process my experiences and find meaning. This series of paintings reflect my current reality as I enter into a new chapter
