This is a collection of eariler work from 2020-2.

During this period I was creating a biographical mythology inspired by the religious symbols and stories that I had grown up with in the Catholic church. These were my first few years far from home and I was beginning to heal, discover who I am, and create my own narrative. Through art  I was able to express what didn’t have a place before including my sexuality and spirituality. It was a way for me to reconnect with myself and the world around me. For this reason, nature and the human body are the primary themes within the work. Each piece is inspired by a specific moment in my life and through texture and color I wanted to create a stimulating and sensual experience.
